JDI's advocacy agenda on the state and national level seeks to secure funding for sexual and domestic violence services, limit access to firearms, and remove barriers to services and supports for unserved, underserved and inadequately served communities including immigrants, LGBQ/T identified people, Native Americans and others. Stay up to date and receive action alerts, by subscribing here or going to our Policy Action page.
Jane Doe Inc. (JDI) is excited to bring anti-violence educators and preventionists, activists, community organizers, human services, youth development and health care providers, educators, employers, coaches, and allies to a day-long summit to learn, share, and network to our annual #ReimagineManhood Symposium as we grapple together with one of the most entrenched systems: patriarchy.
Every April, JDI joins advocates across the country to bring attention to sexual assault and invite people to help prevent it.
Learn more about this year's campaign theme, I ASK, coordinated through the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
And join us on April 23, 2019 as we present the 2019 Visionary Voice Award to Hema Sarang-Sieminski.
JDI is thrilled to announce the launch of janedoe.org/healingtrauma, a unique new resource for advocates in the sexual and domestic violence field, service providers in other professions, health care providers, policymakers, and anyone interested in deepening their understanding of the impact of individual, vicarious, organizational, and historical trauma and oppression and how to foster resilience.
