Vote YES on 3 to Protect Transgender Rights
July 23, 2018

Jane Doe Inc. fully supports the existing state’s transgender non-discrimination law because no one in our communities becomes less safe by laws protecting transgender people from discrimination. This law ensures we can all live our lives with privacy and dignity. So Massachusetts: vote YES on 3! ~ Debra Robbin • Executive Director, Jane Doe Inc.
On November 6, 2018, Massachusetts will be the first state to have a popular vote on a statewide ballot initiative regarding the rights of transgender individuals. As of July 23rd with only 106 days remaining until election day, there is a lot of work to do as a community to protect and uplift everyone!
A YES vote on question 3 ensures public accommodations for transgender individuals, which extends further than bathrooms -- this includes protections in restaurants, movie theaters, health centers, domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers, and much more.
Jane Doe Inc. is mobilizing to ensure that Massachusetts maintains these accomodations. We are asking our members, friends, and allies to join us in taking action to make sure that Question 3 passes!
